The Horry County Solid Waste Authority congratulates this year's winners of our "Talkin' Trash" Recycling Program. Loris Elementary School, Lakewood Elementary School and Burgess Elementary School fourth grades are the overall winners for 2009-2010. SWA and our co-sponsors give a big "thumbs up" to all the students, teachers, schools and parents who participated in this year's program

COMPOST AND MULCH AVAILABLE NOW

The Horry County Solid Waste Authority produces compost and mulch from recycled yard waste and land-clearing debris. Both compost and mulch can be purchased at our Highway 90 location outside of Conway Monday - Saturday and best of all the price is dirt cheap - $10 per ton. The Horry County Solid Waste Authority offers facility tours of the Landfill, Material Recycling Facility and Recycling & Convenience Center to individuals and groups.
